How to install the HSD Modem Software for Huawei EC168

Most of the telecom Operators are giving Wireless Data Services to their Customer.
In CDMA 1X/EVDO Service providers like Reliance, TATA and MTS are providing HSD Modems to their Customers for Utilizing their Networks. Most of the HSD Modem are made by Chinese vendors like ZTE and Huawei.

Below given is an example for installing the Huawei EC168 for Reliance HSD Network.

Steps are 

Step 1 : Plug in the Modem (Data Card)

Step 2 : Run the installation wizard which automatically appear

 Step 3 : Select the location to install the drivers and  click on the “Install” icon to install.

 Step 4: Once the installation complete you will be able to see several notifications in

              status bar which indicates the progress of driver and port configuration.

 Step 5: Once installation is complete. Click on Reliance Netconnect icon which is

              created on your desktop to open the dialer.

Step 6: Give the Username (MDN) and Password (MDN) and its ready to use.

Now you can Enjoy the EVDO Data Service with Huawei EC 168
